This Week at The Bookstore

Hello my friends and supporters!

It has been the most wonderful, whirlwind 9 days. I still can’t believe it. I started a Go Fund Me campaign to Save The Bookstore. I was serious. We needed $60,000 just to dig us out of the hole that the first 5 months of the pandemic created. We made that goal in one day. YES, one day. Many of you immediately donated what you could to keep alive OUR bookstore in Lenox.

A few days ago we humbly decided to raise our goal to $120,000. The wolf is no longer at the door but with all the unknowns, he is still in the woods. Reaching this new goal allows us to more clearly see down the road. We can start to explore how to reopen for limited browsing. We can keep our corner of Housatonic Street alive for the post-pandemic future. If you have donated, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. If you shared our campaign, thank you for spreading the word. If you missed this email last week, the link to the Go Fund Me campaign is below.

Thank you. Thank you. And again, Thank you.
Matt
